Robert Windle is a San Francisco artist and art educator. After discharge from the Air Force, he completed his BA, teaching credential, and MA in painting from San Jose State University.

Born January 31, 1947, the last son of Sicilian immigrants in East Chicago Harbor, Indiana.

Gulf war veteran. Painting is therapeutic and I do so with photos using watercolor. Self taught and would love to expand more with this medium and devote more time than I have now.

I reside in New Jersey by way of Philadelphia

Rooted in a lifelong passion for the natural world, my photography journey began to flourish during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a nature enthusiast who's always found solace in the woods, I discovered a new way to express my appreciation for the world around me through the lens of a camera.

Boundary-defying artist driven by curiosity and a passion for self-challenge. Through diverse subjects, I delve into human emotions, abstract expressions, landscapes, and the beauty of nature's creatures, aiming to transport viewers into the heart of each scene, capturing the essence of life's complexities and delicate balances.

Having served in the military, I carry a sense of discipline that permeates both in my professional and personal life. This structure provided me with stability and focus, allowing me to commit to my interests wholeheartedly—be it navigating complex risk assessments or exploring the intricate world of art. My artistic endeavors reflect this discipline; every piece is carefully crafted and detail oriented, showcasing my dedication to mastering traditional techniques while venturing into innovative combinations of mediums. My life experiences have cultivated a deep sense of reflection. I often finds myself contemplating the lessons learned from my career in risk management and military service, which allows me to draw parallels between these fields and my artistic journey.

Julio Nazario is an acclaimed photographer and mixed-media artist whose work is in museums and private collections. He is retire as Assistant Dean/Faculty in the School of Arts & Sciences Honors Program, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and over the years taught courses in the Caribbean & Latino Studies department focusing on Latino Cinema and Identity Politics. Nazario taught photography for a decade at the International Center of Photography in New York City and was an Adjunct Associate Professor for 17 years, at La Guardia Community College (CUNY). He is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University with an M.F.A in Visual Arts and graduate of Queens College (CUNY) where he earned a B.A. in Philosophy. He is a Vietnam War veteran and recipient of a Purple Heart.

Started out as art therapy and turned into a passion.

I have been experimenting with painting and photography for the past 10 years. I have no formal training. I use a variety of mediums in my art such as: acrylics, watercolor, pencils, ink, fabric, and any other materials I find that would enhance or make my artwork more appealing. In my photography, I am mostly drawn to nature.

David served in the Marine Corps for over two decades and retired from active service. He has been drawing for many years and is now getting positioned to sell his work. He mostly uses pencil or pen, and sometimes his iPad to create his illustrations. He passion derives from special operations and military experiences, but is focused on fine detail, negative space and shadowing in any graphic illustration.

As a Mustang, I was a Navy Corpsman for the first eight years, then commissioned and retired as a Lieutenant Commander and medical provider. For the remaining 20 years. I was attached to the Fleet Marine Force, 4th Medical Battalion, Surgical Company Bravo, Detachment Fort Dix. Operation Iraqi Freedom deployed. My formal training in art was at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. My work is mainly in Sculpture ( wood and clay ), Watercolors and Drawing ( pencil ).

Michael E. Ramos is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. During his time in service, he fulfilled his duties as an Electrical Equipment Repair Specialist (MOS 1142). Around the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Michael became more active in arts and crafts while helping his children with homeschooling. As an amateur artist, his artwork normally takes the form of painting, penciling, wreath-making, or dioramas. Moreover, his political activism on occasion influences his artwork. Michael currently resides with his wife and children in Melbourne, Australia. \nHe is a member of the Marine Corps League (Detachment 607), The American Legion (Post AU01), AMVETS (Post 145), the VFW Auxiliary (Post 8890), American Latino Veterans Association, Mexican American Veterans Association (Chapter 4), and a volunteer with Blue Star Families, Secure Families Initiative, and more. Michael is a service-connected disabled veteran recognized through the Department of Veterans Affairs, and is currently a veteran service officer-in-training.

I spent time off and on doodling with different ideas, but it wasn't until my wife encouraged me that I went further into the art world. I enjoy bringing ideas together in different art mediums that bring a sense of feeling to the artwork. I'm still learning as I go but this is a great way to express yourself and share it with the world. I like to take people's ideas and make them even bigger. Salute to all my fellow veterans!

Dana Pape’s journey has taken her from childhood doodles to a 24-year career in the U.S. Air Force, and finally, to her true passion—-painting. After retiring, she traded combat boots for paintbrushes and canvases, drawing inspiration from her lakeside community in North Carolina. The precision instilled by her military career shines through in her realistic painting style, bringing depth and detail to her work.\nNow a thriving artist and real estate professional specializing in waterfront homes, Dana’s work captures the vibrancy of everyday moments. Her paintings have earned recognition in local art competitions, and she remains deeply connected to the military community. When she’s not painting or selling homes, you’ll find her exploring local restaurants, attending festivals, or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset with her husband, Chris, and their dog, Norman.

Joined the Air Force in 1968 and became a weapons mechanic for the next four years. Loaded weapons on the B-52 and the A-1 Skyraider as well as other models during my four years of service.

I started woodcarving in 2015 with a group of woodcarvers in Bucks County, PA. Bucks County offered a Watercolor class in 2019. I started epoxy resin in 2024 for skulls for walking sticks.

I have Parkinson's Disease. All my drawings are Parkinson's inspired.
