Carol Yeager

I have loved creating art all my life. I enjoy drawing, painting in acrylics and watercolor, and I’m learning more about oils. For me, art is a stress relief, and an opportunity to get out of my own head and the things that drag me down. As a retired military chaplain and currently as a civilian pastor, I find that I carry a lot of other people’s memories and emotions within me. Art is a way for me to release some of the secondary trauma that sneaks in as well as deal with my own personal experiences. Art is healing for me, and my dream is to create opportunities for other veterans and their families to experience that same healing.
