Jim Trapp is a Sacramento-based professional photographer, photographic artist, educator, and PPA-affiliated juror whose work blends a strong photographic foundation with thoughtful digital artistry. A retired United States Navy veteran with 24 years of service, Jim brings discipline, clarity, and an approachable teaching style to every program.
Active in Professional Photographers of America since 2012, Jim has served the photographic community as a studio manager, workshop presenter, critique leader, competition chair, organizational president, and board member. His photographic work spans fine-art portraiture, weddings, children, families, fitness, boudoir, restoration, painterly composites, and photographic art.
