About the Artist:
Nathalie S. Pettit is a multi award winning artist. Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Nathalie’s journey as an artist was shaped by both her international upbringing and the transformative experiences of her adult life. An army veteran, Nathalie served in combat during OIF in 2003, later working at the Pentagon investigating war crimes committed under the Saddam Hussein regime. The toll of these experiences led to PTSD. Art became central to Nathalie’s healing, an essential tool for integration and finding meaning and joy in daily life. Nathalie’s quiet, powerful presence has become known along the Gulf Coast art scene. A member of multiple art associations, she is an active participant in her local creative communities. Her works have been exhibited at Gallery 782, Twisted Anchor Tattoo and Art Gallery, the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, Lucile Parker Gallery, and Hillyer House.
